Kimberly Palmer

Kimberly Barclay Palmer has been practicing law for over a decade. Kimberly is a skilled and highly experienced trial lawyer with involvement in several legal disciplines including criminal law, environmental law, administrative law, and litigation. Prior to joining the Cox Law Firm, PLLC, Kimberly was a prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office for over eight years.

As a felony prosecutor in one of the largest District Attorney’s Offices in the country, she tried or negotiated thousands of felony cases such as Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substances. She also prosecuted criminal offenses during her time as a Deputy District Attorney at the Adams County District Attorney’s Office in Brighton, Colorado.

After thousands of hours of working with victims and defendants during these cases, Kimberly developed a tough but fair prosecution style and the belief that the there is room in the justice system for mercy and rehabilitation.

More recently, Kimberly acted as Regional Criminal Enforcement Counsel while working for the Office of Regional Counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, she advised employees of that agency regarding policy, regulations, and administrative law matters as they related to criminal enforcement of environmental statutes. Kimberly also coordinated with civil litigation teams to successfully bring civil actions against the nation’s worst environmental offenders.

In addition to practicing law, Kimberly is a cooking and baking enthusiast. She is an avid reader and a very active yogi and swimmer.
